Christopher J. Alden is an American entrepreneur best known as co-founder of Red Herring, a magazine focused on technology business, and Rojo.com, an early web-based RSS reader. Alden was CEO of Red Herring Communications, publisher of Red Herring magazine, described as the “bible of Silicon Valley,” which he helped launch out of his house in 1993. Alden was co-founder and CEO of Rojo Networks, creator of an innovative RSS feed reading service. In 2006 Rojo Networks was acquired by [[Six Apart]].
